Shelter, Welfare & Social Support
Every day across Lagos and beyond, thousands of people face unimaginable hardship—sleeping under bridges, in abandoned buildings, in overcrowded shanties, or on the bare floor with no protection from weather, danger, or exploitation. Many are elderly, displaced mothers, jobless youth, abandoned individuals, or victims of sudden economic shock. For them, life is not just difficult; it is a fight for survival.
The Adeibea Royal Life Foundation steps into this crisis with compassion, structure, and a deep commitment to restoring dignity. Our Shelter, Welfare & Social Support Programme is designed to rescue, stabilize, and empower people facing severe vulnerability—those who have no home, no safety net, and nowhere else to turn.
We provide temporary shelter, emergency support, psychosocial counseling, welfare aid, and long-term reintegration pathways—ensuring that no human being is left to survive alone in the shadows of society.
With the right support and strategic partnerships, this programme will transform thousands of lives, offering hope where there was once despair.
What This Programme is Designed to Do
Temporary Shelter
We provide safe, clean temporary shelters for individuals and families who suddenly find themselves without a home.
These shelters offer:
- A secure environment
- Basic bedding
- Clean water and sanitation
- Daily meals
- Emotional and spiritual support
Our goal is not only to keep them safe but to create a calm environment where healing and planning for the future can begin.
Social Reintegration Support
Homelessness is not only a physical condition; it is a psychological and emotional wound.
Therefore, we provide:
- Counseling and trauma recovery
- Family tracing and reconciliation (when possible)
- Life-skills orientation
- Assistance with job placement or skills acquisition
- Transition support into long-term housing
“Providing emotional recovery, family tracing, life-skills orientation, job placement support, and transition into stable housing to promote full social reintegration.” Every individual we help is treated with respect, privacy, and compassion.
Welfare Assistance for the Extremely Vulnerable
We assist:
- The elderly with no caregivers
- Widows abandoned and left without resources
- People facing disability-related hardships
- Children living in dangerous or abusive environments
- Individuals displaced by demolitions or urban crisis
Our welfare support includes food packs, medical assistance, clothing, toiletries, school support for children, and emergency relief for families in crisis.
